Ad Infinitum

It is very easy to refute things we can't or have never seen before. The concept of "Pics or it didn't happen" is very much the norm these days and it is difficult to gain trust based on word of mouth alone. As such it is very easy for people to remain ignorant of things they are not directly affected by. For example, people ignore subjects like history, but if anyone has read about the "Butterfly Effect" or "Chaos Theory" then they would realize that our very existence is based on past decisions and events. The further back in time an event occurs the larger the impact it has on our present. Every decision we make, creates a fork leading to a new reality with events that are either common with or totally different from another reality. In other words, for every possible decision or event there is a different reality or universe. This is the concept of Ad Infinitum. Since everything that can be done has been done in some universe or the other, whatever you do in your universe becomes irrelevant. Meaningless!
Existence is meaningless!
Should that stop you from wanting to live ?
Should you just give up ?
Nah!
Now that I know this, I am free of my bonds.... I can do whatever it is that I desire. I can shape the world in my image simply because "Nothing is Real! Everything is Permitted!". This idiom fits well with my God Complex.
But I cannot change the world as I am because, I have no means of obtaining an overwhelming advantage over everyone else.
If only I knew future outcomes.... If only I could use what I already know to the fullest effect..... If only I could go...... BACK!


Note: I am planning to write a small series in which I somehow awaken in the body of my 2 year old self and, armed with the knowledge of things to come in the future, attempt to change the world .
